NEW HAIR CUT

I have been wanting to get my hair cut for such a long time now, I decided to finally take the plunge the other day and get a long awaited chop! My hair was so long and I never really did anything with it so I wanted to get quite a drastic cut. I have always had really long hair, but I was too scared to get it cut – I don’t know why and now I wish I did this sooner!

For about a week now, the restrictions across Dubai have been eased and salons have reopened – for hair and nail appointments only. Residents no longer require a movement permit and you can go out from 6am – 10pm, as long as you are wearing a mask at all times and social distancing as much as possible.

I found a random salon online, based in Deira, so I decided to book an appointment for a wash, cut and blow dry. The lady knew exactly what I wanted and did such an amazing job. She also gave me a beautiful bouncy blow dry to finish.

As you can see, I got a large chunk cut off, but I am sooooo happy with it! I have never had short hair before, but I absolutely love it. It feels so much lighter and I know it is going to be so much easier to brush and style.

Mamdouh also got his hair cut so we were both feeling pretty fresh afterwards…
