Hamburg, Germany

Another German destination for me, and this time it was Hamburg! We arrived in the early afternoon so I got changed and went out straight away after arriving at the hotel. The weather was a bit cloudy and cold but luckily the hotel was pretty central so I didn’t have far to go.

I walked to Jungfernstieg which is the heart of the city and also where the Christmas market is. Of course I had to have a wander and get myself a German Bratwurst sausage – they are so good!

After the market, I had a walk around the city. I was on the hunt for a hair salon as I desperately need my hair cut but everywhere was fully booked so I gave up and did some shopping instead.

I then stopped off at a nail shop on the way back to my hotel to get my nails done. I also had to get myself a hamburger seeing as I was in Hamburg!

The next morning I actually slept through my alarm so I didn’t have time to go out before the wakeup call! Instead, I relaxed in bed with some breakfast.

As I always, I enjoyed every moment of my layover and it was great spending two layovers in Germany, back to back! Hopefully I will get a Munich flight soon to visit my friend Leonie – fingers crossed!!
